Uses no gears or moving parts

Mother nature throws a lot at your vault. Depending on your region, you may contend with rain, heat, cold, snow, salt, sand, etc. Gears and other moving parts are susceptible to rust and debris which could cause them to stop working. That’s a risk you shouldn’t take. That’s why we designed a device that will function properly no matter what the conditions bring. In the fifteen years since we patented our device, we have not had one customer call us due to failure.

Strong Security

The device is made of 12 gauge stainless steel which is strong and corrosion-resistant. Rather than rely on custom tools that can be easily defeated, we recommend Abloy locks. These locks are virtually pickproof and have patented restricted blanks. The design of our lock chamber keeps the lock clean and dry while our lockguard renders bolt cutters ineffective. In short, without the key, getting into your vault is extremely difficult.

Easy Installation

Weighing about forty pounds, one person can install the LockDown Device in five minutes or less. The pan fits into your existing vault and no modification to the frame is required.

Simple Removal

Once it is in place, removal is quick and easy (with the key) and provides complete access to your vault. Reinstallation only takes a minute.
